  • Operation Christmas Child

    Every month we will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes to be distributed in November 2024. For the month of April 2024 we will be collecting: Cars, Trucks, Socks and Toys (variety).

  • New Sunday School Class

    A new elective six week long Sunday School class led by Adam Miller will meet to study and discuss the book titled Don't Give the Enemy a Seat at your Table and will meet in the Lost and Found room starting May 12th, 2024 and ending on June 16th 2024. The main scripture text is Psalms Chapter 23.

  • Camp Wakefield Junior Camp

    Join us June 16-June 21 for our annual Junior Camp for kids ages 8-12. Activities include pool time, Games, Crafts, Bible study, Chapel time, Worship and yummy food! The cost ranges from $120-$150 for the week (early registration discount ends on 5/19). If you need more information contact Jodi Blackburn or the church office.

Kim Southerland sent me this email about a court case against Governor Northam’s restrictions on church went against the First Amendment of the Constitution and the Virginia State Constitution. He relented for churches under 250. What does this mean for us? Take a look at the article.

Northam Retreats – Concedes His COVID-19 Orders Don’t Apply to Churches With Less than 250 Attendees.

Jim Trusty mentioned the need to pray. If you are feeling that, come and pray for our country together on Sunday evening at 6:30 on October 18th, 25th, and November 1st.
