Welcome to HEFC

Hanover Friends Evangelical Church

I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.
John 10:10

We are a group of Christians from a variety of backgrounds growing together in Christ.

We come to church to worship, study God’s word, bear one another’s burdens, and enjoy our church family.

We want to share the love of Christ with our community and with the world.

Upcoming Sermons

The following are our upcoming sermons from Senior Pastor, Ed Vinson, Associate Pastor, Charles Smith or other guest speakers.

November 29, 2020 - A New Name by Ed Vinson

In this sermon, I highlight 3 New Testament nicknames and how God charges character through name changes.

December 6, 2020 - Testimony of Allen and Tammy Hill by Allen and Tammy Hill

Allen and Tammy Hill will tell their story of how God helped them through each stage of the death of their daughter during the Virginia Tech tragedy. It will be powerful!

"Tammy and I were not super Christians, and still aren’t.  We thought that our world had ended when Rachael died.

All the positive promises of God looked to be overturned; our paradigms of the godly stood in their heads.

And still, the Lord was present, both within us and without… in a world that looked so cruel, and uncaring.

Hallelujah, the voice and word of God never failed."

December 20, 2020 - The WOW of Christmas by Ed Vinson

I describe how in reading the Christmas story in the Bible like you are reading it for the first time you can recapture the wow of Christmas.
